I’m so excited to share my passion for interior design with you! Ever since I was a child, wandering through model homes with my mom, I’ve been obsessed with spotting those clever design details that make a house feel like a dream home. Those early moments inspired me to spend the last 20 years crafting spaces that not only reflect my clients’ unique personalities but also function even better than they ever imagined.

Using cutting-edge CAD software, I bring designs to life with 3D visuals so clients can see their vision come together. As an experienced interior designer, I hold a Master’s degree in Project Management from USC, a BS in Business Management from Northern Arizona University, and interior design training from Moorpark College. Janice Peters handled a remodel of my home in Thousand Oaks. She was the consummate professional throughout the entire process, even going so far as to check on the quality of the work after my family and I were living in our beautiful home. Janice assisted with selection of plumbing fixtures, tile, light fixtures, window treatment, surface materials (counters), cabinetry, and even some furnishings. Throughout this process, if there was the smallest problem, Janice responded immediately and worked with me until the issue was resolved. And as anyone knows, a remodel is an astonishing array of decisions, product and trades that requires great focus. My husband and I were impressed with Janice's breadth of knowledge regarding each trade and her ability to assist in hiring tradespeople that were true craftsman and professionals. Janice designed our family room, living room and kitchen and did an amazing job of making the overwhelming number of decisions seem manageable. Janice was able to work well with our limited design vocabulary and knowledge, while staying true to our general vision. We managed the construction process without a general contractor and Janice was able to provide reliable recommendations for contractors. Janice was very responsive, and even after the job was 98% finished and she could have easily forgotten us, she followed through a few items on back-order and didn't leave us hanging.

I hired Janice to help create a floor plan and pick materials for our complete master bath remodel. She did a great job listening and creating a plan that fit our style and budget. She presented us with plenty of options that were current and helped me narrow down material decisions that at times can seem a bit overwhelming.
